Sat 9th May, 7am [yes, 7am]. Latchmore (Abbots Well)
Get up early to really experience the New Forest at its best, and hear the birdsong, including (we hope!) the newly arrived cuckoo. We meet at 7am for a 4 mile walk, followed by a breakfast in our garden in Frogham.
Supper with Nightjars

Sat 18th July, 11am. Appleslade
Nigel spends most of the Summer monitoring and surveying butterflies across the New Forest, and will introduce some of the local specialities on this 3 mile walk through beautiful mixed woodland, followed by a home made picnic. .
Far from the Madding Crowd
Sat 15th August, 2pm. Latchmore (Abbots Well)
Even in the middle of August, we can still find secluded parts of the New Forest beyond the usual tourist haunts. We also enjoy playing folk music, so our picnic will be a musical one, with Nigel and friends.
Sat 12th September, 11am. Anderwood
As the New Forest relaxes into Autumn, we will explore the fruits, seeds and fungi beginning to emerge. Walk of 3 to 4 miles, together with a seasonal home made picnic, in the woods at the heart of the New Forest.
We are also leaving lots of space so we can provide specially arranged private Walking Picnics for a minimum of six adults. Get a group together and start talking to us about having a Walking Picnic just for you.
